Heavy Rain To Strong Winds – NO VFR Flying Through Monday

The weather will deteriorate later this afternoon bringing the first threat of showers/thundershowers by 7:00 p.m.

Tonight we can expect showers to be ongoing and tapering off late.

Sunday will become stormy later in the day! Winds will increase and windshear will be a problem tomorrow evening. Winds will average 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph tomorrow night, definitely not a good flying night. Delays can be expected at our Hudson Valley area airports. Lots of ponding of water on runways.

Monday will still be rather wet with IFR conditions possibly improving late.

More later
